Chapter 10 of 11 · 2 min read

The 90-day plan

Three months, three stages. Clean up first, then push for volume, then keep what worked.

The first nine chapters describe the company you are building. This chapter turns them into the next 90 days. It is written for where you are right now: take every customer who wants solar, and make sure every one of those jobs finishes well.

The targets below are starting points. If a number does not fit your company, change it, then hold yourself to the new one.

e.g. 1 October
your own number

Days 1 to 30: clean up

Before bringing in more work, clear what is stuck. New customers poured into a jammed process only create more complaints.

Days 31 to 60: push for volume

With the process cleaner, turn up the flow of enquiries.

Days 61 to 90: keep what worked

Growth that is not written down disappears the moment you get busy.

At day 90

Sit down for one hour with the baseline from chapter 1 and today's numbers side by side. Look at installations, subsidies redeemed, days to subsidy, and open complaints. Then check the portal for your new rank. Write down what moved and what did not, and start the next 90 days from there.
